# What happens if my payment is late?

If your payment is late, your account will become _Suspended_ and you will not be able to schedule a new pickup or return until your balance is paid. Clutter provides a 7-day grace period for you to make a payment on a past due invoice before any late fees would accrue. At the 45th day of delinquency, an additional $50 fee is added.

Your online Clutter Account Portal is a great resource to access once you are able to make a payment on your account, as it allows you to select individual invoices that you would like to pay or all invoices to be paid in a lump sum.
